Al Mawakeb School Al Barsha
Al Mawakeb School Al Barsha is a private trilingual school offering a U.S. -based curriculum from KG to Grade 12. Inaugurated in 1998, the school began with 327 students and has since grown to host more than 3,000 students representing over 60 nationalities.
The school is managed by Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) and delivers a balanced program based on Massachusetts State Standards and the UAE Ministry of Education. A pioneer in educational technology, Al Mawakeb School Al Barsha was the first school in the UAE to adopt digital and mobile computer technology as a substitute for hard-copy teaching materials through its pioneering Notebooks for Books (N4B) program, and in 2019 was among the first globally to implement a blockchain-based system to store and share digital academic credentials. In 2007, it was awarded Best Educational Institute in Entrepreneurial Education, an honor typically given to universities.
The trilingual curriculum (Arabic, English, French) blends UAE heritage with modern, rigorous academics, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning. Al Mawakeb graduates have continued their studies at prestigious universities worldwide, including Harvard, UCLA, King’s College London, University of Toronto, McGill University, and Sorbonne University.
